We will be attending The Tax Stamp & Traceability Forum 2023
Between the 2nd and the 4th of October 2023, our team of product authentication experts are heading to Tbilisi, Georgia for the Tax Stamp & Traceability Forum
Last year, the forum saw 194 registrants from 99 organisations and 35 countries attend all with the aim of discussing ‘the latest developments in tax stamp and traceability systems and learn[ing] from one another about requirements, best practice and potential solutions’.
This year looks to be even bigger than before with the ‘conference programme packed with informative papers on emerging and proven technologies as well as best practices for enhancing the production, protection, implementation, and enforcement of tax stamp and track & trace systems’.
What is the Tax Stamp & Traceability Forum
Products such as tobacco and alcohol are subject to excise duty which makes up a considerable amount of government revenue. However, the illicit trade of excise goods, whether via counterfeiting or tax evasion, means that governments are losing out on billions each year as well as harming supply chains, consumers and stakeholders.
The Tax Stamp & Traceability Forum brings together some of the biggest names in the industry to discuss the latest developments in tax stamp and traceability systems. Attendees of the three-day conference are set to include customs agencies, regulators, manufacturers, distributors, supply chain specialists, suppliers of authentication technologies, and system integrators. All attendees share a passion for learning about, and driving forward, requirements, best practice and potential solutions in the tax stamp and traceability sector.
Quantum Base at the Tax Stamp & Traceability Forum
We have again been invited to attend the year’s leading event on the global protection and traceability of products such as tobacco and alcohol against counterfeiting.
This year, we will be presenting how Q-ID®, the world’s first 100% unbreakable quantum authentication solution, is driving the fight to combat counterfeit goods, and protect global revenues with our dedicated Q-ID tax stamp solution.
Significantly cost effective, and with simple integration into all current printing processes, Quantum Base Limited can supply billions of Q-ID Tax Stamps to fully protect all global assets and products. Each Q-ID tax stamp is fundamentally unique, unbreakable, and simply read with a standard smartphone in under 2 seconds for seamless global authentication.
Q-ID is now empowering global populations as well as government officials to be the custodians of authentication to protect assets, and to drive real-time individual product traceability on a global scale.
How do we do this?
Each individual unique Q-ID tax stamp has quantum material embedded within it; inherent randomness at the atomic level creates a unique “fingerprint” for each tag. This means that there are literally billions of variations in the atomic arrangement in each and every Q-ID tax stamp, providing each with an ultra secure identity. Along with this, Quantum Base has created technology to allow a standard smartphone to read the microscopic atomic signatures in each Q-ID, creating the world’s first quantum-secure unbreakable authentication solution.
This is where Q-ID differs from all other authentication solutions and technologies. We use microscopic atomic natural variations, not macroscopic variations, to make each Q-ID Stamp unique, impossible to copy, and simple to mass manufacture.
You can find out more how Q-ID tax stamps are protecting global markets here. We look forward to connecting with you at the Forum, and are excited to again be part of the Tax Stamp community in 2023.
